What are the hours of the Mini Moose Lodge?
Mites Lodge (3, 4 & 5 yr old care) will be open from 6am-6pm, Monday - Friday.
School Age Care will be open from 6-8:15am and 3:10-6pm and 6am-6pm on non-school days, Monday - Friday.
My child does not need childcare full time, will this affect the rate?
You are responsible for giving a weekly schedule by email or paper copy.
You will be responsible for filling out a weekly, monthly, or permanent schedule. If you do not sign up for a day you will not be charged. However, if you sign up for a day on the schedule and you do not come, you will be charge.
For example: If you sign up for Monday, Wednesday and Friday one week, you will be charged those days. The next week if you need Monday and Wednesday and sign up for only those days you will just be charged those days.
If I'm on vacation, will I be charged if my child is not there?
No. If you schedule no care needed, you will not be charged.
Will Mini Moose Lodge and Mites Lodge be open on teacher in-service days, half days, school vacation days and snow days?
Yes. If for some reason we cannot be open, an announcement will be made.
Is summer care available for my school aged child and my preschooler both?
Yes!
Rates will be the full and half day rates.
Are lunch/breakfast additional charges?
Yes. When school is in session your child will be able to have lunch and breakfast in the cafeteria and pay for it through the school. They may also bring cold lunch.
When school is not in session there will be no school lunch/breakfast. Families will need to bring in their own lunch/breakfast.
A morning and afternoon snack will be provided.
Does my child have to be potty trained?
Yes!
Will my child be able to ride the bus?
Three year olds WILL NOT be allowed to ride the bus.
Yes, there is bussing available for 4 & 5 year olds on School Readiness days ONLY.
Students must be enrolled in School Readiness to use bussing.
Bussing will not start until the middle of September.
Will I be charged a full day if I attend School Readiness?
Children attending School Readiness will be charged a half day on School Readiness days only, if less than 10 hours. Children staying more than 10 hours will be charged a full day rate. If there is no School Readiness you will be charged a full day rate.
