What are the rates?

What are the hours of the Mini Moose Lodge?

  • Infants and Toddlers (6 weeks - 33 months) will be open from 6am-5:30pm, Monday - Friday
  • Mites Lodge (3, 4 & 5 yr old care) will be open from 6am-5:30pm, Monday - Friday. 
  • School Age Care (K -5th grade) will be open from 6-8:15am and 3:10-5:30pm and 6am-5:30pm on non-school days, Monday - Friday. 

My child does not need childcare full time, will this affect the rate?

  • You are responsible for giving a weekly schedule by email or paper copy.  
  • You will be responsible for filling out a weekly, monthly, or permanent schedule.  If you do not sign up for a day, you will not be charged.  However, if you sign up for a day on the schedule and you do not come, you will be charged.  
  • There is a 3 day a week minimum for all Toddlers & Preschool.
  • School age has no minimum during the school year. 
  • Summer care for School Age has a 3 day a week minimum.  
  • There are no part-time positions for Infants.  The weekly rate will be due each week for infants.  

Will Mini Moose Lodge and Mites Lodge be open on teacher in-service days, half days, school vacation days, and snow days?

  • Yes.  If, for some reason, we cannot be open, an announcement will be made. 

Is summer care available for my school aged child and my preschooler both?

  • Yes! 
  • A three-day-a-week minimum is required
  • All families, after their 1st year of contract, can request a "vacation" week.  You won't pay if you are gone for a week.  

Are lunch/breakfast additional charges?

  • Yes. When school is in session, your child will be able to have breakfast and lunch. Currently, there is no charge for breakfast and lunches. They may also bring cold lunch.
  • When school is not in session there will be no school lunch/breakfast.  Families will need to bring in their own lunches and breakfast must be eaten before children come to Mini Moose. 
  • A morning and afternoon snack will be provided. 

Does my child have to be potty trained?

  • It is strongly encouraged that your child is potty trained for our Preschool Program. 
  • We will begin working on your child's potty training needs in the toddler room when you tell us and when you are actively working on potty training at home. 
     

Will my child be able to ride the bus?

  • Three year olds WILL NOT be allowed to ride the bus.
  • Yes, there is bussing available for 4 & 5 year olds on School Readiness days ONLY.
  • Students must be enrolled in School Readiness to use bussing.  
  • Bussing will not start until the middle of September.  

Will I be charged a full day if I attend School Readiness?

  • Children attending School Readiness will be charged $25 on School Readiness days only IF their School Readiness tuition is paid in full.  This applies to School Readiness days only, does not apply to non school days, insevices days, halfdays, Fridays, or summer care.
